The U3A art group are a very friendly group of people who enjoy each other’s company and are quite dedicated to battling with everything their tutor throws at them!
We are all at different levels of creativity and ability.
During these sessions we work from observation and imagination.
We can use acrylics, pastels, watercolour, charcoal and pencils, or even mixed media.
Sometimes we are called to use a specific medium and sometimes it is for us to make a choice.
At mid session we stop for tea or coffee and biscuits and to walk around the room to see other people's work.
I think everyone in the group would say that the time flies and during our creativity nothing else enters our minds but the work in hand.
What a blessing!!
The Art Group meets at Darby Green and Frogmore Social Hall. Frogmore Road, Blackwater GU17 0BY on Mondays from 11:00 to 13:00
